Can We Be Direct:

Worth reading - click the link - Can We be Direct
Direct selling today is a $169 billion (USD) global industry that’s compelling and competitive – and sometimes confusing to those who don’t know it well. With nearly 90 million people involved in direct selling businesses worldwide, Amway knows a commitment to honesty, transparency and improving understanding is critical to success.
That’s why Amway joins the member companies of more than 60 national and regional direct selling associations in the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations in upholding best practices and exemplifying ethical conduct. And it’s why Amway is committed to answering the tough questions about its business. Here are answers to six of our most commonly asked questions about the industry, business integrity and owning an Amway business.

Amway Opportunity

In the current climate people are looking for ways to bring their income back to the levels they became use to. It makes sense to have more than one income stream. After looking at the alternatives like taking on a part time job or becoming a part time taxi driver or starting a conventional business were money is required to be invested - it's time to look at network marketing at an income choice.
Amway was a great business choice in 1959 and it is an even better choice today - take a look at what Amway  has to offer send me an email through this site if you want further information or clarification. Amway Ireland   Amway UK

Amway Business Building Seminar Sunday April 11th 2010:

Following last month’s fantastic event, Amway announced the next Business Building Seminar has been scheduled for Sunday 11th April 2010 from 1pm to 5pm.
Amway have said they will continue to support the exciting growth in Ireland!
The seminar is open to ROI ABOs and UK ABO with groups in Ireland – but I guess that means it’s open to all ABOs in the UK/ROI market – but it might be worth checking who is actually invited.
If you are an Amway ABO this is a fantastic to associate with your fellow business owners and also learn your business. You will also meet corporate staff and there will be a product display starting at 1pm.  Have a great day all you Amway Business Owners or should I say ABOs

Amway Opportunity Meetings

Some great news for Amway in Ireland. The amount of Open Opportunity Meetings have been expanded in April to take account of the growth in the Irish Market.
The idea behind these business presentations is to assist Amway Business Owners [ABOs] in presenting the opportunity to new people and for new and existing ABOs to discuss learn more about their Amway Business.
As these meetings form part of Amway's support to ABOs there is no entry fee, therefore every ABO should avail of the meeting in their area.
Even if ABOs do not have guests or new ABOs to bring to the meeting they should come along to meet the team, learn the business and support Amway - after all they are supporting us.

This is the list taken from the latest email form Amway:April Amway Opportunity Meetings
Weekly Amway Opportunity Meetings at the UKFEC
Please be reminded that we are holding weekly Opportunity Meetings at the London Centre every Tuesday at 8pm!! Be sure to bring along your prospects and let them hear about the Opportunity from some of our most successful Amway Leaders.

Why Amway – Why Direct Selling – Why Network Marketing:

If ever there was a time to look at a new income option this is it.
With the recession still biting and reduced incomes why not -Take Control of your Future –  Look at your options can you get a pay rise in the next two years  in a conventional job, if you are self employed are you working harder that ever just to stand still.
Take a serious look at your revenue streams and then take a look at Amway. Amway is a ready made business opportunity; it’s a proven business with over fifty years experience in the direct selling and network marketing industry. One thing we can be sure of is that as long as there are customers there will be sales people, as long as there is a need for a product there is a sales person to sell it. Selling is an honourable career and a career that has so much potential that it is worth investigating to see if it is an option for you.
If it is immediate income you are after then you all you have to do is sell/retail top quality Amway Products. There is no greater satisfaction than the feeling you get knowing that you have filled a need for a customer. Amway carry a wide range of products under three main categories Home, Health & Wellness and Beauty. Everybody we know uses a product that can be replaced by an Amway product – so it may be only one product you sell to a customer with the 100% satisfaction guarantee but whether it’s one or ten products you sell you are on your way to building your Amway Business.
If you have leadership qualities and are ambitious then you can lead your own team with the potential to earn a larger income with other bonus payments.
There is so much doom and gloom talk around that it is often difficult to see what is right under your nose – look into direct selling as an opportunity to expand your income – look into Amway as the market leader in the industry and know that what you are doing is filling the needs of customers,  who will only be delighted to give you repeat business if you look after them well.
Go on have a go – you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Amway Seminar March 7th 2010

Amway held it's 2nd business Building Seminar of 2010 in Johnstown House Hotel today Sunday March 7th - This was a fantastic event with some great speakers and a product display. One unique feature of these Amway events in Ireland is the ticket price and what happens to the funds. Tickets are €5 i.e. five euro per ABOship. ABOs enter their name, ABO number and nominate a local children's charity - during the seminar a draw takes place and the chosen ABO will get to present the funds to the chosen charity.

Back to the speakers we had a new 21% telling us how they did it and Pat Stranney teaching on how to get started and to close the evening we had executive diamond Jackie Gulick on rewards and lifestle.

We also had Andy Smith General Manager & Director, Amway UK and RoI speaking on company updates etc.

All this in a little town just outside Dublin in the Republic of Ireland - what a way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Amway Roadshow ROI

This week the Amway Roadshow was in town we had an event in Dublin Tuesday, Cork Wednesday and Belfast tonight Thursday
- The night was open to ABOs and their customers and the plan was shown half way through the event – people could browse, see, handle and try the products and three Amway staff were present at each event -
This was a great departure from the norm and definitely worth doing again – it’s great that we have a company that will come in and support us
Thanks Amway for doing your bit.

Revised and updated ASA Meetings & Events Policy.

This update on meetings was sent to all Amway ABOs in UK/ROI - looks like Amway are listening to the leaders in the field and working with them to get the right solutions while still regulating for the good of the business as a whole. :yahoo: :yahoo:

Amway Open Meetings:

Well that's the first series of open opportunity meetings over for January - Belfast, Athlone & Dublin - It was a great start to the new year and there were good numbers at all meetings. Amway are on the move again in Ireland and by all accounts there are a series of meetings planned for England, Scotland, Wales - not sure what happens on Jersey & Gurnsey.
At all meetings there was a representative from Amway present and he gave a short talk after the presentation.
It is great to see Amway promoting the open meetings by email and on the websites I am sure this is encouraging ABOs to get off the couch and attend the meetings.
There is one thing I know for sure the rooms will not be big enough next month - If you were an ABO at any of the meetings all you have to do is bring one new person back with you next month and Amway will have a challenge squeezing us all in.

From 28th October 2008 substantial roadworks are being carried out close to the Athlone Springs Hotel. Alternative routes will apply which are listed below. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Exit the N6 on the outskirts of Athlone for the R362. Turn left onto the R362 at the T-junction. Pass Élan Pharmaceuticals on your left hand side. The hotel is half a mile further on the left hand side of the road. but please note there may be traffic delays as the traffic coming from the Dublin side who have missed the turning are trying the double back just below the Monksland turnoff leaving a very dangerous spot. Please also beware of roadworks.

Take the first exit off the Dual Carriageway after crossing the Shannon, marked Roscommon. At the junction take a right for Athlone Town Centre. At the next junction again take a right for Tuam and the hotel is located approx 4-5 minutes (passing lots of roadworks that may cause delays) on the left hand side after the Elan Pharmaceuticals Plant.

Go straight through the Ganleys Hardware Roundabout past the Galway exit heading for the Town Centre. At the next junction again take a right for Tuam and the hotel is located approx 4-5 minutes (passing lots of roadworks that may cause delays) on the left hand side after the Elan Pharmaceuticals Plant.

What is Network Marketing:

This is a great question because there are a lot of misconceptions out there. Basically Network Marketing is the movement of goods & services through a combination of manufacturers, sevice providers and self employed people/business owners in order to sell those goods & services to an end user.
