SUCCESS in AMWAY

Success in the Amway buisness is based on sustained effort. Can success in Amway replace the average industrial wage which in Ireland is approx €33,000???
The answer is yes but how long it takes is entirely based on your sustained effort – it is achieved through a combination of selling Amway products and building a network of people who also sell Amway products and build a network of people. A balanced combination of both arms of the Amway business is what is required to achieve your desired level of income. It is said a recession is an opportune time to build an Amway business, this is because people are looking to expand or sustain their level of income. Network marketing is an ideal low cost buisness model – indeed Amway have no setup fees or registration fees – so you fledgling business is off the ground and you don’t even have to write a cheque or use the credit card – not a bad deal in a recession or indeed anytime.
If you are looking for an opportunity in these hard times network marketing is definitely an option.

As far as North America goes, I absolutely could not disagree with you more.

The sad truth for Amway is that in times of recession, people watch where they spend their money more than ever.

Consequently, in North America, people will not spend money on vitamins that cost in many cases 3x more than another brand.

As far as the other products, nobody has shown me competitive ones.

Amway is more prone to recession than most brick and mortar businesses.

Too bad for you Amway guys in North America.

Hi Rocket - I note you speak from an American viewpoint.
I am glad to see you agree with the point that a recession is an oportune time to build a network marking business.
You are obviously not up to speed on product pricing in the Amway UK/ROI market but just to let you know that Amway products are very price competitive across all ranges including Nutrilite.
As for Amway being prone to recession Amway UK/ROI is showing huge growth month on month both in customer retail sales and sponsoring.
You really need to be up to speed - remember you are on an Irish site and a very Cead Mile Failte to you.

Product based MLMs are slow to build whichever side of the pond you're on from my experience for two reasons;

1. People like to shop in different places and look around to get the cheapest or next best thing.
2. To build an MLM based on product commissions is painfully slow and these days with so many people looking for a fast fix the idea of spending the next five or even ten years building towards the promise of an MLM is rapidly declining.
Amway have gone through a lot of changes in the last coulpe of years and I hope your business is surviving as I know a lot of guys who left and headed away to find a new MLM (not that this is the answer of course).
Good to see the conversation here and keep it going!

HI Neil - welcome to the site - The Network Marketing or MLM Industry is worth over $100billion a year world wide - so is a huge industry with many different types of networks. There is room for everyone to build the one they choose. You are correct about people looking for a fast fix - but unfortunately these fast fix MLMs don't always last and only a few at the top benefit -
With regard to Amway in particular it celebrates 50 years in business this years and is a very strong business.
Look forward to your next visit.

What is Network Marketing:

This is a great question because there are a lot of misconceptions out there. Basically Network Marketing is the movement of goods & services through a combination of manufacturers, sevice providers and self employed people/business owners in order to sell those goods & services to an end user.
